Hello, I am looking for a paralegal to help me with a small claims case I am filing in Superior Court of Justice, Peterborough, Ontario. I was in a motor vehicle accident on 11/16 in West Seneca New York involving a semi registered in Ontario. I have the police report that states the driver admitted to causing the accident, but Definity insurance, who insures Archer Bulk Carriers in Norwood will not cover the loss of my vehicle, towing, and storage. My car was a 2003, so I did not have collision coverage on my insurance, so Hartford will not do anything for me. This was no fault of mine, and I believe I should be compensated for this loss. I am naming Archer Bulk Carriers and the Driver ( from Omemee ) in the suit.
I live just south of Buffalo and if I would need to appear in court, It would be a 5 hour drive. If I get there and this is delayed, that is a day lost. I would be able to travel if I know the case would be heard that day. I would also like to make sure I am filling out the forms correctly.
This, to me, is a matter of principle, I am only asking for $5,000.00 which would cover my car, towing, and storage.
