Maple Leaf Dentistry offers a full range of service covering dental hygiene, general dentistry, implants, cosmetic
dentistry and emergency dentistry. We are looking for a Dental Assistant to add to our skilled team who are

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Prepare dental instruments, fillings, compounds and various dental materials
o Prepare patients for dental examinations
o Assist in dental procedures including emergency dental work
o Prepare and take x-rays
o Educate patients concerning oral hygiene
o Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
o Manage inventory of dental equipment and supplies
o Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and chart-less record-keeping
o Provide backup for reception.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
o Post-secondary education in dental assistance and/or equivalent work or training experience
o Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Dental Assistant
o Experience assisting in surgical, endodontic and prosthetic dental procedures
o Healing Arts Radiation Protection (HARP) Certification
o Proficient in Abeldent cloud-based software
o Proficient in 3Shape scanner software
o Excellent customer / patient service
o Excellent teamwork
o Availability for nights and weekend work an asset
